This Cookie Policy explains how wonderfulworld.ch uses cookies and similar technologies. We keep cookie use to a minimum: we set only a few strictly necessary, first-party cookies and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. “First-party” cookies are set by this website; “third-party” cookies are set by another domain. We use first-party cookies only.
The cookies we use
- Cookie-choice cookie (
cookie_notice_accepted) — remembers that you have acknowledged our cookie information, so it isn’t shown again. First-party, functional. - WordPress functional cookies — our site runs on WordPress, which may set
short-lived functional cookies when needed (for example when submitting the contact form, or
to keep settings for logged-in administrators, e.g.
wp-settings). Ordinary visitors browsing the site are not tracked by these.
We do not set advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Analytics without cookies
We measure site usage with Independent Analytics, which runs on our own server, sets no cookies, anonymises IP addresses, and shares no data with third parties.
Fonts and maps
Our fonts are served from our own server, so no font provider is contacted and your IP address is not shared when a page loads. The Google Maps view on our contact page loads only after you click “Load map”; only then is data (including your IP address) transferred to Google LLC in the USA. If you don’t click, Google is not contacted.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because we set no non-essential trackers, the website works without a cookie consent banner; blocking our few functional cookies may affect minor conveniences (such as re-showing the cookie note).

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
