This privacy notice explains what personal data we, Gruetter (“we”, “us”, “our”), collect when you visit wonderfulworld.ch, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum and set no advertising or cross-site tracking.

What we collect and why
- Contact form. When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you enter. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry. The message is sent to us by email and is not used for marketing or shared with anyone else.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our server automatically records technical data for each request (for example IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested). This is used to operate the site securely and diagnose problems, and is kept only for a short period.
- Website analytics (no cookies). We use Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that runs entirely on our own server. It sets no cookies, anonymises visitors’ IP addresses, and shares no data with third parties. We use it only to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited.
Cookies
We use only a small number of strictly necessary, first-party cookies (for example to remember your cookie choice, and, for logged-in administrators, to keep site settings). We set no advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and no non-essential trackers run before you interact with the relevant feature. For details see our Cookie Policy. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts and maps
- Fonts are self-hosted. The website’s fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page does not send your IP address to Google or any other font provider.
- Maps load only on request. On the contact page the Google Maps view is not loaded automatically. It appears only after you click “Load map”. If you choose to load it, your data (including your IP address) is transferred to Google LLC in the USA at that point. If you do not click, no contact with Google takes place.
Where your data is stored
The website is hosted by Hostpoint AG on servers located in Switzerland. Analytics data is stored in our own website database (also with our Swiss host). The only transfer outside Switzerland/EU that can occur is the Google Maps load described above, and only if you click it.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf strictly to run the site — our web host (Hostpoint) and our email provider. Some pages link out to third-party services such as Amazon, the Apple App Store, or our image galleries; once you follow such a link, that provider’s own privacy policy applies. We have no on-site shop checkout and collect no payment data.
How long we keep data
Contact-form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Server logs are kept short-term. Analytics data is stored in aggregate. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under Swiss data-protection law (revDSG) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email Pete@wonderfulworld.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your local supervisory authority in the EU.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however.
Children
The website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
