Seetal nature photography follows the Lake Valley north from my home in Eschenbach to Lenzburg in Aargau, past the two lakes Baldegg and Hallwil that give the valley its name. It is a landscape of water and weather: white storks nesting and soaring against the Alps, foxes and roe deer working the meadows, a black woodpecker crossing the forest, and lone trees on the hills above Römerswil. A true highlight is the cool autumn mornings, when fog pools over Ibenmoos and the lakes while the low sun turns it gold. Every image here was made within a short drive of home.
